Why is there a pending charge on my payment card?

As you're paying your babysitter via our cashless payment method for an upcoming booking then our system will place what is called an "authorisation hold" on your registered payment card, for a small amount, approximately 24 hours before your booking is due to start.

This "authorisation hold" will automatically convert to an actual charge for the correct amount that should be paid to the babysitter once the booking has ended.

If your booking is cancelled for any reason then this "authorisation hold" will be immediately refunded and/or voided automatically.
