A good reference can help a job seeker stand out from the competition in any field. But in childcare, solid references are essential. We will ask you to provide the contact details of at least two references from the UK in a form, and we will get in touch with them to ask them some questions.
A minimum of one reference must be obtained from the candidate's employment in the UK within the last 24 months, where the candidate worked in a private or professional setting with children (e.g., nursery, school, childminder) for a minimum of two months, with at least 20 hours per week.
Whenever possible, collect additional references from the last five years of employment. These references are recorded in our system. At least one of the references should be from the last 24 months.
Candidates without references will not be able to proceed with their application.
