We suggest that on your first session, you arrange for the carer to arrive 30 minutes before you leave. You can then introduce them to your family and be in a position to see how well they relate.
Our experience is that when you introduce your carer in this way children and adults both soon feel comfortable. Our carers have been carefully selected and have experience working in the care sector. They have chosen to work as a carer because they enjoy it - you'll find they are quick to put you and your family at ease.
