How do I prepare for my interview with Hello Mums and what do I need?

Once we have checked and verified the documents you have uploaded to your account, we will invite you for a video interview.

When will I be interviewed?
We will offer you a time and a date for your interview only after we have checked that you have all the necessary paperwork to join Hello Mums.

How do I choose the time and date of the Interview?
Once we have verified your paperwork, we will get in touch with you and offer you available appointments. If you provided us with all the paperwork, we should be able to interview view within 48 hours.

Where do I go for the interview?
All interviews take place on Zoom - so you can be wherever you like. Please make sure you have a good internet connection and a quiet background to talk to us. We will provide you with the Zoom meeting details via email.

What do I need to have with me for the Interview?
You will need to have all your paperwork (DBS and Proof of ID) with you and we will need to see it during the video call.

What happens at the interview?
-You must have excellent internet coverage during the interview. If the reception keeps on breaking up, we will have to reschedule the interview. 
-You must be at a secure location which is very private, such as your home or alone in the car. We can not conduct the interview in locations such as bus stops, coffee shops, parks, etc. 
-You must show your original ID and original DBS at the interview to the person interviewing you. If you are not able to do that, we wont be able to continue with the interview. 
We will go through your details and paperwork and have a general chat to find out a bit more about you and your experience in childcare. 

How long is the interview?
Maximum 20 minutes.

What else do I need to know about the interview?
We record and keep every interview in our secure system to enhance safety and security.

What do I need to do after the interview?
Once the interview is over, we kindly ask you to remind your references that we will be in touch. This will speed up the verification process. Once all the references are complete, we will activate your account and you will be able to take any available jobs you are interested in.

How long after the interview can I start taking jobs?
Within 24 hours provided that your references checks are complete.

Hello Mums reserves the right to withdraw or terminate an application if the applicant is deemed unsuitable for the platform.
