If your numbers have changed and you no longer need a carer, we are happy for the shift to end after 4 hours or more.
However, if you need to end a shift earlier than originally scheduled, it must be a mutual agreement between your setting and the carer. Reducing a shift impacts the carers’ livelihoods. If the carer does not agree to leave early, the setting will be charged for the full, originally scheduled shift.
To confirm the reduced hours, the carer must notify us directly either by phone or in writing. If we do not receive confirmation, the cancellation policy will apply, and the full fee for the scheduled shift will be charged.
