Every nursery has very strict safeguarding rules in order to protect the children. When you take a nursery job, you need to follow this policy.
Just before you enter the nursery you must switch your smartwatch airplane mode on.
You are not allowed to make and/or receive phone calls, messages and emails or take pictures with it while you are on the nursery's premises. Just as you are not allowed to use your phone in the nursery you are not allowed to use the phone capabilities on your watch.
You must put your watch in airplane mode as soon as you arrive at the nursery, you are still able to see the time and count the steps in this mode.
Please note that if you break this rule, it will be reported to LADO and may be issued on your DBS as well as a safeguarding issue. It may also affect any additional job you want to take in childcare.
