This course provides essential knowledge and understanding of safeguarding adults at risk, specifically for carers working in retirement homes. It aims to equip learners with the skills and awareness necessary to recognise, respond to, and prevent abuse and neglect of vulnerable adults within the UK context. The course will cover key legislation and best practices relevant to safeguarding in this setting. The course length is approximately 30 minutes. Upon completion of this course, you will:
