Registering with Hello Mums - a step by step guide

 

We know every platform is different when it comes to registering and starting to work, so we have put together this simple step by step guide to help you understand how we work and what you will need from registration to taking your first job at Hello Mums.

Step 1. Check out Hello Mums
If you are thinking of joining Hello Mums as a childcarer first of all you should take a look at our website and social media pages to make sure you like our ethos, values and culture. It will also allow you to get a first impression and to help you decide if we are the right business for you. As childcare in the UK is a huge sector, it is important that you know that most of our work is providing you with job opportunities on a temporary basis in nurseries across London. So if you are after daytime flexible work in the early years sector and you like our company then you should register.

Step 2. Register your details
This is probably the quickest part as you just need to click on the link below and fill out your basic details - all the information is automatically added to your account with Hello Mums and you will be able to update it once your account is verified.

Step 3. Paperwork check
In order for us to arrange an interview at a time and date of your choosing, first, we need to make sure you have all the relevant and necessary paperwork we need to be able to offer you jobs across London. 
You will need to have provided us with the following paperwork before your interview and you must be able to speak English fluently:
- enhanced, clean, less than 2 yrs old DBS
- valid proof of identity
- two childcare related work references from the UK

Step 4. Arrange and Attend the interview
Once we have verified your paperwork you will be able to choose a time and date to have a Video Meeting with us. This means that you do not have to leave your home, you will just need to have a quiet space and a good internet connection so we can conduct the interview with you.
The interview lasts a maximum of 20 minutes and every interview is recorded for safeguarding purposes.

Step 5. Upload your photo and write your profile summary
Whilst we are busy checking your account and getting everything read (post-interview) you will need to upload a selfie/photo of yourself and we also kindly ask you to write a profile summary about yourself.

Step 6. Read your activation email and accept your first job
Once both you and we have uploaded everything to your account and we have verified all your paperwork, you will receive an activation email that will inform you that you are now able to accept jobs. This email is very important, so please make sure you keep it safe and you read it: it will include account details, details about all the things you may have forgotten to ask during the interview, about accepting and cancelling jobs and much more.
