Before you take your first job as a Hello Mums childcarer, we will conduct an interview with you. This blog post explains what you can expect from the Interview.
When will I be interviewed?
We will offer you a time and a date for your interview only after we have checked that you have all the necessary paperwork to join Hello Mums.

How do I choose the time and date of the Interview?
Once we verified your paperwork, we will get in touch with you an offer you available appointments. If you provided us with all the paperwork, we should be able to interview view within 48 hours.
Where do I go for the interview?
All interviews take place on Zoom - so you can be whereever you like. Please make sure you have good internet connection and a quiet background to talk to us. We will provide you with the Zoom meeting details via email.
What do I need to have with me for the Interview?
You will need to have all your paperwork (DBS, Proof of ID and your references) with you and we will need to see it during the video call.
What happens at the interview?
We will go through your details and paperwork and have a general chat to find out a bit more about you and your experience in childcare. We will also ask you some questions to facilitate job offers.
How long is the interview?
Maximum 20 minutes.
What else do I need to know about the interview?
We record and keep every interview in our secure system to enhance safety and security.
What do I need to do after the interview?
Once the interview is over, you will need to upload your profile photo and write your profile summary on your own account with us. You can read about the requirements for the profile photo here and please click here for information about the profile summary.
What happens after the interview?
We will check all your paperwork and upload anything else that is needed to your account with Hello Mums. Once you have uploaded your profile photo and summary we will send you a verification email and from that moment onwards your account is active.
How long after the interview can I start taking jobs?
Within 24 hours IF we were able to verify and upload all your paperwork and details to your account and you have uploaded the profile photo and you have written your profile summary.
